Hackathon 2015 — Google HQ, Mountain View

Code for India's signature event ran simultaneously at the Googleplex in Mountain View (~200 programmers) and Tech Mahindra's Noida office (~250–350 programmers) — a 15-hour transcontinental hackathon on the theme Digital & Skilled India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the room from Google's offices during his US visit, encouraging "a hackathon culture to find solutions for India's problems." Sundar Pichai — newly appointed CEO of Google — and CP Gurnani, then-NASSCOM President, also met with the teams.
